Prompt: Create a title sequence for a movie that could benefit from a stronger credit sequence.

I chose the 1997 animated film ‘Anastasia‘ because I saw an opportunity to create an introduction to the film’s story and atmosphere due to the lack of one in the actual movie. I wanted the sequence to keep the movie’s magic while hinting at the story without revealing too much.

I first developed an overall concept and storyboarded the scenes, then vectorized the elements in Illustrator. Everything was then brought into After Effects to animate the sequence, using the music to guide the pacing and timing of the movement.
